THREE LIGHTING MODES

Own other similar lights that are not as versatile as this one (they extend up and down and due to their small base, are often unstable when leveraged) ... as other readers mentioned, the base on this light is also way too small to stabilize the weight of body in anything other than a vertical position... but the fix is so easy, and given the versatility of this device, worth the modification...the magnet at the base of the light is strong enough to lift a small steel plate that gives it a wide enough footprint ... the pictured electrical box light cover (available at Home Depot & Lowes) creates a stable base that allows the light to flex in any direction at any angle ... love it

I really didn't think this light would amount to much when I ordered it but I must say I've been finding I use it quite a bit when I need it. It provides plenty of light for working in tight places, even at the lower settings. With the gooseneck wand you can angle the LED to point any direction you wish.I also like the magnet on the base which allows me to anchor it to something metallic. Very helpful when working on cars or out in the garage where I have more things to attach it to. And rechargeable is great so you don't need to worry about replacing batteries.I do wish there was a bit more weight in the base as it falls over very easily if stood straight up. Even so, it's much better than my previous method which was putting a small flashlight in my mouth as I worked!

It stands up on its own, can be hung by it’s hidden hook or magnetically attached to a metal surface.My husband just used it in the garage while replacing the lawn mower blade. The goose neck arm adjusts to any angle and it’s not too heavy. There is a power indicator light to show the remaining battery life.
